NOTICE: Secondary Metal Recyclers

Per S.B. 291 passed during the 2026 Legislative Session, the Kentucky Motor Vehicle Commission will now issue licenses to Secondary Metal Recyclers. The process is under development, and all current registered entities will be notified by the Commission regarding the new procedures for licensing and how to proceed.
